Engineering Manager Job

Job Responsibilities:

1. To manage the team of Engineering, Tooling & support Engineering Manager
2. Responsible for robust design verifications, engineering signoff and production validations
3. Responsible for Tooling & Molding verifications & support
4. Customer interaction for Product & Tooling deliverables
5. Support all APQP activities including PPAP signoff
6. Knowledge of CAD systems like “UG / Pro/e / CATIA”
7. Verification of Engineering documentations like Drawings/Layouts, DFMEA, BOM, DVP etc.
8. Supplier management & tracking for Product changes and Tooling Development
9. Support & validation of prototype and pre-serial build
10. Provide cost effective & cost reduction solutions

Qualification & Requirements:

1. Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Plastics
2. 10 ~ 15 yrs of experience

a)      Above 5 years hands on experience in Product design / Tooling / Molding

b)      Above 3 years experience in Team management (Engineering/Tooling/Molding)

1. Experience & Knowledge of CAD Softwares “UG NX or Pro/e / CATIA ” and AutoCAD
2. Experience in dealing with Automotive OEMs is preferred
3. Good communication & management skills
4. Good at both written & spoken English
